The intuitive software will walk you through the process, just make sure to create an NTFS partition, since you won't be able to install Windows 7 on any other type, and make it a minimum of 16GB. With Boot Camp Assistant still open, choose the option to "Start the Windows installer." You'll need to pop that fresh, legally purchased copy of Windows 7 in the drive and click Continue to start installing.
