Puzzle unlocked
The iPhone puzzle has finally been unlocked and I can’t figure out why it took quite so long to do it. Apple did kick up quite a stink about the iPhone unlocking episode. But truth be told, Mr Jobs and all his men in this day and age did you expect the poor souls who were denied an opportunity to use the iPhone to sit tight and wait? I should think not. So when the guys at iPhone Dev Team did unlock it, endind the AT&T monopoly, both Apple and AT&T did kick up quite a storm. And what’s more, this unlocking is restore resistant.
After it woke up and realized that millions of users around the world are unlocking the iPhone (and do we blame those poor souls) Apple warned these bad bad users. The warning was to the effect that Apple took no guarantee for the unlocked phones and apparently the unlocking software on the internet has been known to cause damage to the iPhone.
The iPhone Dev Team who produced the unlocking software has also promised a software that will restore the iPhone to its original factory state.
I’m sure most people have no sympathy for Apple who has restricted the availability of the iPhone to the rest of the world. I can vouch for the rest of the world that it’s not fair that the guys in the US of A get to play with the iPhone while gadget geeks around the world just have to sit around waiting. Mean move Apple. So most customers outside think nothing of having an iPhone imported and unlocked. Lots of cell phone shops are making quite a business out of unlocking the iPhone.
To all the guys at Apple, did you think you could get away with cheating us all of the iPhone?
