Headphone adapters for iPhone

If you are an iPhone user, you will find out that the Headphone jack is recessed by several millimeters and that the standard headphones do not fit into the jack.

Belkin Adapter

The first adapter was released by Belkin, but it looks plainly stating ugly. It has the look of a 3 inch antenna poking out of your iPhone and is not recommended. It is selling at approximately $10.95, but there are better options available as the reviews it is getting are not quite that attractive.

Griffin Adapter

The Griffin adapter definitely scores over the previous in looks, t is flexible and does not threaten to break the adapter by bumping into a door or a wall. But the cons include its bulkiness and its noticeability, also it is still not available in the market.

RadTech Adapter
This is a beauty to look at, the best at least from the currently available. Called the RadTech Audio Extension Cable it is coming in two lengths, 3 inches and the 4 inches. For only $7.95 it is the best bet in the market and is as sleek as you could have expected.

Shure Adapter

The Shure adapter has the benefit of an inline microphone and a longer cable. The mic allows you to use the phone function while on standard headphones. Costing $39.95 it is the most expensive and the mic costs you an extra $30, so if you are ready to spend it it is all yours.

Apple Adapter

It keeps up with the Apple tradition; it is minimalist, sleek and elegant. Can be seen at the iPhone Cables category provided at the Apple Store.

The apple adapter is so small that it is quite a wonder that it can be made so small, differing from the usual available adapters, it has its own way just as you would expect from an Apple product. The sleek ad minimalist design make it an envious find.
